In a mere two weeks Dragon*Con will be upon us. We here at Double Meat couldn’t be more thrilled. To celebrate the first ever live show from Sasha and Zeke we have a special, sexy, nerdy contest for our listeners at Dragon*Con. It’s a sort of activity-based “scavenger hunt.” You can as naughty and/or nerdy as you like, with the added fun of free-market competition and an amazing prize!

What’s the prize, you ask? You get to be Honorary Meat! The person who racks up the highest score will be up with us, behind a mic for the live show. You’ll be the third Meat in our delicious sandwich with Aubrey de Grey (as seen on the Colbert Report and The Lord of the Rings).

How does this thing work? What will we make you do? Funny you should ask…

The Rules

This is run on the honor system, because we know that Double Meat listeners are all good an honest people. Still, don’t cheat. It’s more fun if you play fair.
You can only score the points for an activity once, but a single action on your part may count for multiple point-scoring activities
Any sexiness on your part (kissing, making out, or actual sex acts) has to be done with someone you have never done that with before.
For purposes of this contest a “celebrity” is a real celebrity. Not a podcaster, not a gamer designer, and not a prominent skeptic.
If you have any questions on whether an activity you are contemplating will get you points, text Sasha or Zeke.

Scoring

Collect your scoring sheet from Sasha when you get to the con. Send an email to sasha@doublemeatpodcast.com to get his cell number to arrange a pick up (of your sheet, you pervert) when you get to the con.
You have from when you arrive at Dragon*Con until 1 hour before the live Double Meat show. That is until 9:00 PM local Time on Sunday, September 5th.
Report to Sasha and Zeke in the hall outside Hilton 204 by no later than 9:30 PM on Sunday August 5th to have your results logged.
Everyone who scores at least 100 points wins and can tell everyone they meet, for the next year, that they “won at Dragon*Con.” They’ll also get a mention during the show.
The person with the highest score is Dangerously Debauched and gets to be on the show as Honorary Meat.

The Deeds

Get a more creative interpretation of a picture of Double Meat – 10 pts
Get a picture of a cosplaying guy with exposed nipples – 10 pts
Get a picture of yourself with a stranger who is NOT wearing a costume – 10 pts

Kiss a guy – 10 pts
Ride the elevator with a celebrity – 10 pts
Be drunk every night – 15 pts
Bring 3 new people up to your room – 15 pts
Crash a party – 15 pts
Get a picture of a celebrity eating – 15 pts
Get a picture of a ninja and a pirate together – 15 pts
Get to second base in an elevator – 15 pts
Make out with a couple – 15 pts

Expose yourself to 3 or more new people at once – 20 pts
Get a picture of someone in a costume from a movie or game that isn’t even out yet – 20 pts

Live Double Meat Update

First off, thank you to the 27 wonderful backers who are making the live Double Meat episode at Dragon*Con a possibility. Your generosity is amazing, and we’re both very touched.

We will be putting on the show on Sunday, September 5th at 10pm EST in the Hilton 204 (where the main podcasting track all takes place). We will be recording our special super secret backer-only episode at a time, day, and location yet to be determined, but we promise not to wear pants.

For those of you who have donated, thanks again; your cards will be charged by Kickstarter in a few days, at 5pm EST on August 6th. If you have not yet backed the project, we’re still acepting donations. These donations will be used to cover the fullfillment of material rewards (photos and t-shirts) and keeping Sasha and Zeke well lubricated during the con. You have until 5pm EST on August 6th to plege a mere $5 to get a copy of the very special super secret episode. Think of it as buying us a drink – with benefits.

Our fundraising is going quite well. We have raised $485 dollars after this last weekend, with only $415 bto go. What’s more, there have been 10 backers donating an average of $48.50 each! We don’t require large donations, every penny helps, but we can still use your help! Donating $5 means you will get the special backer-only episode of the podcast, but even a single dollar helps!
